Another day in Albuquerque. Not a bad place to be. We have a heavy schedule ahead of us including lunch with Mary and Beth today at the Pueblo Harvest Cafe and lunch with Joanne tomorrow in Old Town. It’ll be hard to keep up.

Yesterday was Camping World (CW) day, and we tried for the minimalist theme.

While the motor home was at CW either being worked on or sitting in the parking lot waiting to be worked on, we decided to test whether or not we really needed an RV. Given a tree for shade and the perfect weather in New Mexico, going without is just fine. We spent some time in the morning in the waiting area of the CW but our two NMI’s were a handful. After Lilly peed on the floor, we left (after cleaning up, of course). We then drove around ABQ. One of the stops was a Petsmart. Lilly peed on the floor. So, we drove some more (after cleaning up, of course). I was then ready to pee on the floor.

We picked up our motor home at about 5:00 when the service department was closing down amidst the typical CW chaos exasperated by the inability of the person you’re working with to focus only on the customer and not on all the other people running around with their own crises. Anyway, we got our motor home back in good shape and the issues resolved. Ah, home sweet home.

Thursday past was Tuzi’s appointment with the specialist. I think the outcome was the recommendation to come back on Monday and have an ultrasound done and read by the one person in the office who is the real expert. The opinion of the vet on Thursday was that surgery could fix the situation, but the recommendation was to wait until the real expert examined Tuzi. So, our trip to our next volunteer gig has been delayed at least 1 day. And since Shannon has to come back to ABQ on the 17th for her cardiologist appointment, it may not make much sense to leave until after the 17th.

I think we’ll go have lunch and ponder our schedule.
